external communications web, print, and video(UnitedHealthcare: 2007 – 2016) - Managed a video production facility creating industrial, corporate, and commercial projects. (Ad-Ventures Video owned by Golden Rule Financial Corp., 1995 – 2005)
- Freelance writer (Contracted by Golden Rule Insurance Company to work with the Chairman of the Board, November 1993 – April 1995)
- Non-profit communicator and fundraiser (Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana and The National MS Society, Indiana Chapter, July 1990 – September 1993)
- Broadcast journalist: promoted from news photographer to chief photographer, to reporter/photographer to substitute news anchor and host (WTTV, Indianapolis, May 1980 – September 1989. WTWO Terre Haute, May 1978 – April 1980)
Accomplishments –
- Led a team of designers that created a series of 6, well received, short videos to educate employees on cyber security for UnitedHealth Group. The project was produced using a local crew, completed on time, under budget and well below the cost of the usual corporate vendor.
- Planned and oversaw the construction of a new video production facility.
- Lead a team of 9 employees to a customer-focused culture, with improved
service and efficiency. - Assisted with the development of a PR campaign promoting a product line
and served as corporate spokesperson (UnitedHealthcare, Individual Line, January 2004 – September 2015).
